Ingredients used in Simple Palak Chicken Recipe
• crushed almond and cashew nut 2 Tablespoons.
• cumin powder 1/4 Teaspoons.
• black pepper powder 1/4 Teaspoons.
• turmeric powder 1/4 Teaspoons.
• cinnamom 1 inch Stricks.
• green cardamom 3 Numbers.
• clove 3 Numbers.
• Cumin seed 1/2 Teaspoons.
• curry leaves 3-4 Springs.
• onion chopped 2 Slice.
• green chilly chopped 3-4 Slice.
• tomato chopped 1 Big.
• ginger garlic paste 1 Tablespoons.
• olive oil 3 Tablespoons.
• palak finely chopped 1 Bunch.
• chicken thigh 6 Piece.
• thick cream 2 Tablespoons.
• cube of Magee -optional 1 Numbers.
• Salt to taste To Taste.
• butter 1 Teaspoons.
• corrainder leaves 1/4 Bunch.
How to make the recipe:
Apply salt to chicken and keep aside. Take a heavy bottom or nonstick pan and put in it 1 frac12; tablespoon olive oil. Sauteacute; whole spices, cumin seed, curry leaves and chopped green chilly for 1 minute. Add onion and salt fry for 2/3 minutes until translucent Then add ginger garlic paste stir well, chopped tomatoes, coarsely grind nuts and closed the lid few minutes When tomatoes are mushy add all the above ground spices and lil water stir well Add palak mix well and close the lid for 3 minutes and add cream to it wait for few second and off the flame. Let the fry mixture get cool Grind coarsely the mixture (finely palak pieces should be visible) and keep aside. Add to the same pan remaining oil and fry the chicken pieces Add lil water and magee cube and close the lid for 5 minutes Add the prepared massala to the chicken simmer for few seconds and sprinkle frac12; teaspoon chicken massala (option) on it. Garnish with coriander leaves and pieces of butter /cream. Ready to serve hot with nan or paratas.
