Ingredients used in Tamarind Rice
• Curry leaves 6 to 7 cloves,ginger littel bit - .
• Channa dal littel bit,ground nuts small amount - .
• For tadaka: cumin seeds,little bit mustard seeds little bit - .
• Tamarind juice, salt depends - .
• Cooked rice - 1 cup.
• Turmeric powder less than half spoon - .
• Red chilli - 4 .
• Green chilli - 3 .
Method:
Take 1 cup of cooked rice,rice should be in medium menas shouldn#39;t be sticky or raw. Take one bowl add this rice into that , let it be cool for 10 min. Mean while take tamarind juice for this take small lemon of tamarind into bowl add some water mix it and take thick juice from tamarind and keep a side. it has to be thick. For Tadaka: take one pan add 2 to 3 spoons oil let it be heat 2 min. Add Cumin,Mustard seeds,Channa dal, Ground nuts,Red Chilli,Green Chilli,Ginger,Curry Leaves .. Fry it still ground nuts will turn into little brown color. Dont fry too much . Add Tamarind Juice And add Salt and Turmeric powder . Fry it 5 min. Add this tadaka into the rice and mix it well. Tamarind rice is ready..
