Ingredients used in Tomato Chicken
• Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoons.
• Garam masala - 1/2 tablespoons.
• Poppy seeds (gasagasalu) - 1 tablespoons.
• Cinnamon - 1/4 stricks.
• Cardamom - 2 numbers.
• Cloves - 4 numbers.
• Almonds - 5 numbers.
• Coconut fresh - 1/4 cup.
• Chillies - 2 numbers.
• Onions - 2 numbers.
• Tomatoes hybrid - 6 numbers.
• Chicken - 500 grams.
• Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoons.
• Red chilli powder - 1 to taste.
• Salt - 1 to taste.
• Coriander leaves - 1/4 bunch.
Method:

1.Prepare a thin paste of coconut , almonds and other spices(Cloves,Cardamom, Cinnamon,poppy seeds) and keep aside. 2.Marinate chicken with turmeric, little ginger garlic paste,red chilli powder,salt to taste. 3.Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry chicken and keep aside. 4. In remaining oil add cumin seeds. 3. Add diced onions, little salt and turmeric. Let them fry till onions turn slightly golden. 4.Add Ginger garlic paste and fry till raw flavour is gone. 5. Add tomatoes and when they become soft just add little water(half a cup).Bring it to a saucy consistency till and oil oozes out. 6.Add the thin paste of masala (keep a filter or hand in between to remove the pulp of coconut) and mix well. 7.Add chicken to it. 8.Simmer the flame and let the chicken cook for some more time. 9.Once chicken gravy comes to a saucy consistency and oil oozes out, adjust salt and chilli powder if requred (add kashmiri mirchi powder for good red color) 10. add garam masala and coriander leaves Tasty tomato chicken is ready!
