Lentil Powder Paratha with Radish & Amaranth Leaves

Ingredients used in Lentil Powder Paratha with Radish & Amaranth Leaves
• Toor dal - 1 tablespoon.
• Chana dal - 1 tablespoon.
• Moong dal - 1 tablespoon.
• Red moong dal - 1 tablespoon.
• Dry red chilies - 3 number.
• Wheat flour - 1 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - as required.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 number.
• Nutmeg (grated) - 1 tea spoon.
• Garlic (chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Radish (grated) - 1 cup.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Water amaranth leaves (chopped) - 1 bunch.
Method:
  • Dry roast toor dal, chana dal, green moong dal, red moong dal along with dry red chilies then grind to coarse powder.
  • Prepare a dough with wheat flour by seasoning with salt.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onion, nutmeg powder, chopped garlic and saute till onions turn slightly transparent.
  • Now add grated radish, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, chopped water amaranth leaves, water, mix thoroughly and cook well.
  • Then add the prepared dal powder, stir for few more minutes, when cooked transfer to a plate and cool it.
  • Now, divide the dough into small portions, stuff with the prepared mixture and roll them to parathas.
  • Roast the parathas on both sidesby sprinklingoil.
