Description : This is a really simple recipe for deliciously sour mango rice by Divya Chezhian

Recipe of Raw mango rice
Ingredient Name	Unit	Quantity

Asofoetida	pinch	1
Chopped big onion	cup	1
Curry leaves	leaf	5
Green chilli	piece	2
Green mango	big	1
Mustard seeds	tbsp	1
Oil for seasoning	tbsp	3
Red chilli	piece	2
Rice - sona masuri	cup	1
Salt	to taste	2
Turmeric	tbsp	1/2
Urad daal	tbsp	1
Directions \| How to make Raw Mango Rice

1. Cook rice with 1 tsp of salt. Rice should not be too soft; they need to separate like it is done for pulao 2. Peel and grate green mangos and keep aside 3. Heat oil in kadai. Add mustard, urad daal, chillies, curry leaves and fry for 30 secs 4. Add chopped onions and fry until transparent 5. Add mangos, turmeric, asofoetida and cook for 5-10 mins until mangos are soft 6. Add salt and cook for 2 mins and remove from heat 7. Add cooked rice, mix well and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot. Goes well with potato chips!
