Ingredients used in mango rice
• Chopped ginger (optional) - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Hing - pinch.
• Mustard seeds - pinch.
• Cumin seeds - 1 pinch.
• Salt - to taste.
• Red chili whole - 3 number.
• Oil - 4 teaspoons.
• Channa dal - 1 tea spoon.
• Sliced green chilies - 6 number.
• Chopped coriander leaves - 1 bunch.
• Cashewnuts nuts - 50 grams.
• Urad dal (optional) - 1 tea spoon.
• Grated raw mango - 1 cup.
• Fresh cooked rice - 4 cups.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan, add red chilies whole , mustard seeds, cumin seeds and let it crackle.
  • Then add channa dal, urad dal, broken cashewnuts, and saute it.
  • In the same pan, add hing ,green chilies, curry leaves, chopped ginger(optional), turmeric powder, grated mango and cook till mango is tender later add boiled rice and toss it well.
