3 Simple Dahi Ki Kadhi Recipes

Ingredients used in 3 Simple Dahi Ki Kadhi Recipes
• Onion (cut into cubes) - 1 number.
• Cabbage (cut into cubes) - 1 number.
• Coriander seeds - 2 tablespoons.
• Ginger (1 inch) - 1 number.
• Garlic - 4 number.
• Green chilies - 4 number.
• Fennel leaves - 1 bunch.
• Chickpea flour / besan - 1(1/2) cup.
• Curry leaves (chopped) - 2 springs.
• Oil - as required.
• Yogurt - 1 cup.
• Water - as required.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Green chilies (chopped) - 2 number.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Hing - pinch.
• Salt - as required.
• Vadas - 2 number.
• Papad (fried) - 1 number.
Method:

Preparation of Pakodas:

  • In a bowl, add onion and cabbage cubes, slightly crush them by seasoning with salt.
  • Take a dinchik and slightly crushcoriander seeds.
  • To dinchik, add ginger, garlic, green chilies, fennel leaves, chrush them and transfer this into the onion and cabbage mixture
  • Now add chickpea flour, chopped curry leaves andmix it to a pakoda batter by adding water in small quantities.
  • At last, make the mixture into small dumplings, drop them in hot oil and deep fry till they turn slightly brown in color.

Preparation of kadhi:

  • Whisk yogurt by adding chickpea flour and waterin small quantities.
  • Crush some coriander seeds in dinchik and keep aside.
  • For tempering: heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds. When they splutter, add crushed coriander seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, chopped green chilies, turmeric powder, hing, prepared butter milk mixture, salt and cook it by stirring occasionally.

3 Best Ways to Serve Kadhi:

  1. In pakoda bowl, pour some kadhi and let it soak for few minutes. Serve it hot.
  2. Another way, Take a papad, break it into small pieces in a bowl and serve it by pouring some kadhi on top.
  3. The last variation, add fried vada (break into small pieces) and soak it in prepared kadhi.

Delicious 3 Simple Dahi Kadhi is now ready to serve.
