Ingredients used in Aloo Potol
• Cinnamon powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Onion - 1 numbers.
• Cumin seeds - 2 numbers.
• Cumin powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Parwal - 450 grams.
• Ginger (1 inch) - 1 numbers.
• Potatoes/aloo - 400 grams.
• Garlic flakes - 2 numbers.
• Tomatoes - 2 numbers.
• Salt - to taste.
• Cashew nut paste - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Oil - 1 numbers.
• Fresh coriander leaves - to taste.
Method:
  • Cut potato and parwal into cubes.
  • Grind onions, ginger, and garlic to make a paste.
  • Heat the oil in a pan and put cumin seeds in it. Add onion paste and fry it for 3 minutes.
  • Mix ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and cinnamon powder. Cook it for 5 minutes.
  • Now add cubed potatoes and parwal.
  • Mix tomatoes and cashew nuts and let it cook till the vegetables become tender.
  • Add some water and season with cinnamon powder. Adorn with fresh coriander leaves.

Delicious Aloo Potol is now ready to serve.
