Ingredients used in Brinjal kochu
• Urad dal - 1 teaspoons.
• Oil - 50 ml.
• Salt - to taste.
• Green chilli - 12 numbers.
• Small onion - 10 numbers.
• Big onion (bellary) - 2 numbers.
• Tomato - 250 grams.
• Egg plant (brinjal) - 500 grams.
• Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoons.
• Asafodeia - 1 teaspoons.
• Curry leaves - 3 stricks.
• Corriander leaves - springs.
1.Pour oil in pan. Add sliced big onion, Tomato, and Brinjal one by one. Fry for few minutes and pour water in to it. Allow to boil untill it gets cooked. Keep aside to cool and grind in to fine paste. 2.Fry urad dal, mustard seeds, asafoedia, chopped small onions, curry leaves in oil. 3.Add the grinded mixture and salt to it and allow it to boil.Garnish with coriander leaves
