- Dry roast urad dal then grind to fine powder. Keep aside.
- Take chickpea flour in a bowl, add baking soda, salt (to taste), powdered urad dal, hing, red chili powder and mix it to a stiff dough by adding water along with a teaspoon of oil.
- Now roll thedough into small pooris, give gashes to the pooris and deep fry in hot oil.
- Prepare a mixture of black salt, dry mango powder, red chili powder and sprinkle on top of fried cholafalis.
Cholafalis are now ready to serve
