LEMON RASAM WITH RICE BALLS

Ingredients used in LEMON RASAM WITH RICE BALLS
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Curry leaves - 4 springs.
• Onion - 1 number.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Roasted chana dal powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Ajinomoto (optional) - pinch.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Fresh coconut powder - 1 cup.
• Egg - 1 number.
• Pepper corns - 1 tea spoon.
• Garlic - 5 number.
• Sugar - 1 tea spoon.
• Lemon juice - 1 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Rice - 1 cup.
• Oil - as required.
Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and when they splutter add cumin seeds, chopped onions, curry leaves, turmeric powder and saute it.
  • Mix roasted chanadal powder and water in a bowl without any lumps. Now transfer the mixture into the above cooking pan.
  • Then add coriander powder, Fresh grated coconut and cook it.
  • Now add crushed garlic, salt and pepper corn.
  • Use another bowl to mix chopped coriander leaves, coconut powder, egg white and cooked rice.
  • Make small balls with the above prepared mixture.
  • Finally add sugar, lime juice and slide the rice balls into the cooking pan.
  • Continue the cooking process for few more minutes and serve it hot with rice.
