Ingredients used in MASALA LACHA PARATA
• Wheat flour - 1 cup.
• All purpose flour - 1 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Green chili paste - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Carom seeds - 1 pinch.
• Sour buttermilk - 1/2 cup.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Oil - 2 teaspoons.
• Red chili flakes - 1 tea spoon.
• Onions(chopped) - 1 tablespoon.
• Ground nut powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Coriander leaves - 1/2 bunch.
Method:
Take a bowl and add wheat flour, all purpose flour, salt, ginger garlic paste, green chili paste, carom seeds, turmeric powder, sour buttermilk and mix thoroughly to make paratha dough. Knead dough with little oil and rest it for 15 -20 minutes.. Roll the dough into thin and big sheet then apply oil, sprinkle red chili flakes, onions, groundnut powder, cumin powder, fennel powder, garam masala. Apply water to corners and roll it like as shown in video, later divide dough into 8 equal half. Dust some flour and press it lightly, later place coriander on top and roll small paratha. Heat oil in a pan, place the paratha and cook it, turn to other side and cook it with little more oil.
