Ingredients used in Pizza Style Egg and Bread Uthappam
• Bread slices - 4 number.
• All purpose flour - 1/2 cup.
• Baking soda - pinch.
• Butter milk - 1/2 cup.
• Boiled egg (cut into roundels) - 2 number.
• Pepper powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Green chilies (chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Tomatoes (chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - as required.
Method:
Use a blender to make bread slices into crumbs. Transfer the breadcrumbs to a bowl, add all purpose flour, baking soda (or baking powder), buttermilk and mix it to a batter. Then pour 1 ladleful of batter into a pan and spread it evenly (like a thick dosa). Now top it with boiled egg (cut into small pieces) and season with pepper powder, chopped green chillies, tomatoes, chopped coriander leaves, chopped onions, optionally sprinkle salt to taste. Roast on both sides till it turns to golden in colour by sprinkling a half teaspoon of oil. Delicious Pizza Style Egg and Bread Uthappam is now ready to serve.
