POPPY SEEDS AND CHANA DAL POWDER

Ingredients used in POPPY SEEDS AND CHANA DAL POWDER
• Poppy seeds - ½ cup.
• Ghee - 1 tablespoon.
• Coriander seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Chanadal - 1/4 cup.
• Dry red chilli - 3 numbers.
• Urad dal - 1 tea spoon.
• Garlic - 2 cloves.
• Cloves - 2 numbers.
• Tamarind - 10 grams.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • In a hot pan dry roast the poppy seeds, let it cool down make it into a powder.
  • Heat ghee in a pan add coriander seeds saute it for a minute then add chana dal and dry red chilies, urad dal, garlic, cloves, tamarind slowly roast it till urad dal and chana dal to brown color.
  • Let it cool completely add all these ingredients make it into a coarse powder along with poppy seed powder by adding salt.
  • Serve with hot rice and ghee.
