Ingredients used in POPPY SEEDS AND CHANA DAL POWDER
• Poppy seeds - ½ cup.
• Ghee - 1 tablespoon.
• Coriander seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Chanadal - 1/4 cup.
• Dry red chilli - 3 numbers.
• Urad dal - 1 tea spoon.
• Garlic - 2 cloves.
• Cloves - 2 numbers.
• Tamarind - 10 grams.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
In a hot pan dry roast the poppy seeds, let it cool down make it into a powder. Heat ghee in a pan add coriander seeds saute it for a minute then add chana dal and dry red chilies, urad dal, garlic, cloves, tamarind slowly roast it till urad dal and chana dal to brown color. Let it cool completely add all these ingredients make it into a coarse powder along with poppy seed powder by adding salt. Serve with hot rice and ghee.
