Ingredients used in SHAHI ALOO METHI MUTTER PAPDI
• Semolina - 1/4 cup.
• All purpose flour - 1/2 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - to fry.
• Onion(chopped) - 1 number.
• Fenugreek leaves - 1/2 bunch.
• Dry green peas - 1/4 cup.
• Tomato(chopped) - 1 number.
• Coriander powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1 pinch.
• Cumin powder - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Red chili powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Garam masala powder - 1-2 pinch.
• Amchur powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Potato(pieces) - 1 number.
• Paneer - 1/4 cup.
• Fresh cream - 1 tablespoon.
• Dill leaves - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
In a bowl add semolina, all purpose flour, salt, oil and mix nicely. Add water and mix nicely to make a dough, allow it rest. Heat oil in a pan and add onions, fenugreek leaves, salt, boiled dry green peas, tomato and saute it. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, amchur powder, potato and cook it. Add paneer, fresh cream and saute the stuffing mixture. Roll the dough into sheet and cut it with shaped cutter and do docking, deep fry in moderately hot oil. Transfer into paper towel, spread a stuffing mixture on all papdi and arrange one on another. Now garnish with dill leaves and serve it.
