Ingredients used in SORAKAYA THAPILENTLU
• Bottle gourd - 1 cup.
• Rice flour - 2 cup.
• Onions - 10 numbers.
• Green chillies - 6 numbers.
• Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoons.
• Salt - 0 to.
• Bengal gram - 1 teaspoons.
• Jaggery - 1 teaspoons.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
Method:
1. Grate the bottle gourd, wash and strain them 2. In the grinder add onions, green chilies, salt, jaggery and blend into coarse paste. 3. To the rice flour add bottle gourd mixture, soaked bengal gram, cumin seeds, curry leaves and grinded mixture. 4. Now also add finely chopped onions, if require add some water and make a dough, then keep it aside. 5. Heat oil in pan and on other plate make small balls of the dough on the wet cloth and place a hole in centre of them. 6. Now deep fry them in oil. The crispy dish is ready to serve and best eaten with butter or curd.
