Ingredients used in Tamilnadu chicken curry
• Curd - 1/2 cup.
• Coconut - 1/2 cup.
• Corriander leaf - .
• Oil - 3 teaspoons.
• Bay leaf - 2 numbers.
• Cardomom - 2 numbers.
• Cinamom stick - 2 numbers.
• Cloves - 3 numbers.
• Tomato - 3 small.
• Ginger garlic paste - 2 tablespoons.
• Onion - 1 big.
• Chilli powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Corriander powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Chicken - 500 grams.
Method:
1.Marinade chicken with little turmeric and Ginger garlic paste for 1/2 and hour. 2.Grind the masala(coconut,cloves,cardomom,cinnamom stick,chillipowder,corriander powder,turmeric powder).Grind it to a fine paste. 3.Add oil in a wide pan or vessel.Add onion and fry till it turns brown. 4.Add Ginger Garlic paste. fry for another 3 min. 5.Add tomato. 6.Add the grinded masala and fry till the oil oozes out. 7.Add the chicken.(donot add water).cover it and leave for 5 min.Add salt. 8.Now add water for your consistency. 9.Leave the chicken for 15 min.(leave it in very low flame). 10.Open garnish with corriander leaf and then serve with rice or chapathi.
