Ingredients used in Vegetable Pakora
• Vegetables, cut into large pieces (bell pepper, cauliflower, onions, etc) - 2 cups.
• Besan(bengal gram flour) - 1 cup.
• Water - 1/4 cup.
• Red chili powder - 2 teaspoons.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Asoefetida (hing) - pinch.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - as required.
Method:
  • Make a thick batter of flour by using red chili powder, cumin, hing, salt (to taste) with water.
  • Dip the vegetables in above prepared batter and deep fry in hot oil.

Serve it with your favorite chutney or ketchup.

This is a marvelous recipe for pakora, and I am really looking forward to preparing this dish. I am a litter concerned though, as I am not sure which vegetables to use, and how those should be prepared. Would you please point me towards that area
