Ingredients used in Yam Tandoori
• Yam (slices) - 6-8 number.
• Water - as required.
• Yogurt - 1 tablespoon.
• Kashmiri red chili powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Amchur powder / dry mango powder - 1 pinch.
• Coriander powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Garam masala - 1 pinch.
• Turmeric powder - 1 pinch.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Lime juice - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Onions (long slices) - 1 number.
• Oil - 2 teaspoons.
Method:
  • Cut yam into slices and boil in water until it is 80% cooked. Transfer to a plate.
  • In the same plate at one corner, add yogurt, kashmiri red chili powder, amchur powder, coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, lime juice, salt and mix nicely.
  • Coat this mixture to yam slices and place it on a hot grill pan with little oil and cook it.
  • Transfer to a serving plate and garnish with onions.

Now the Yam Tandoori is ready to serve.
