Description: Aloo palak is a very easy and simple recipe with a combination of cubed potatoes and chopped spinach cooked with masalas and red dry chillies. Serve this subzi hot with rotis or parathion.

Potatoes 2 Numbers
Tomatoes 2 Numbers
Onion 1 Numbers
Garlic Flakes 2 Numbers
Bunches Palak 2 Numbers
Turmeric Powder 1/2 Teaspoons
Cumin Powder 1 Teaspoons
Corainder Powder 1 Teaspoons
Red Chilli Powder 1/2 Teaspoons
Oil To Fry
Salt To Taste

Directions

•Cut palak, onion, tomatoes and potatoes.
 
•Grind ginger and garlic to make a paste. .Fry onions till they turn transparent.
 
•Add cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder and turmeric powder. Add ginger garlic paste Mix it well.
•Add potatoes and tomatoes. Cook till oil leaves the side of the pan.
•Add palak and salt. Cook it for 20 minutes over medium flame.
 
•Aloo Palak is ready.

Ginger is not mentioned in the Ingredients, but is asked to put ginger garlic paste and the taste went horrible. i think Ginger should not be added to this recipe. and just one round to be ground in mixie for that palak gravy.

its nice but do i need to boil potatoes.

It is really nice recipe, but I do not come to know for how many people this amount of ingredients can be used. And do I need to boil potatoes and palak before adding into gravy?
