Ingredients used in Aloo Palak
• Potatoes - 2 numbers.
• Tomatoes - 2 numbers.
• Onion - 1 numbers.
• Garlic flakes - 2 numbers.
• Bunches palak - 2 numbers.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Cumin powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Corainder powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Red chilli powder - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Oil - to fry.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • Cut palak, onion, tomatoes and potatoes.
  • Grind ginger and garlic to make a paste. .Fry onions till they turn transparent.
  • Add cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder and turmeric powder. Add ginger garlic paste, mix it well.
  • Add potatoes and tomatoes. Cook till oil leaves the side of the pan.
  • Add palak and salt. Cook it for 20 minutes over medium flame.
    Aloo Palak is ready.

Ginger is not mentioned in the Ingredients, but is asked to put ginger garlic paste and the taste went horrible. i think Ginger should not be added to this recipe. and just one round to be ground in mixie for that palak gravy.

It is really nice recipe, but I do not come to know for how many people this amount of ingredients can be used. And do I need to boil potatoes and palak before adding into gravy?
