Recipe of Basic Raita (3 minutes)

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Chaat Masala (Optional) 1 Pinch
Jeera (Cumin Seeds) 1 Teaspoons
Mustard Seeds 1 Teaspoons
Yogurt 2 Cup
Salt 1.5 To Taste
Oil 1 Teaspoons


--- Take a tadka pan, and add very little oil --- When oil is ready, add mustard seeds --- When mustard seeds start to splutter, add jeera --- When jeera stops splutter, add heeng to this -----Switch off heat and let this cool aside Separate bowl..beat some yogurt and some salt (to taste) and add some chat masala too (optional) Till now the tadka will be cool, add the tadka to yogurt mix and mix well. Keep in fridge for 5mins before serving to get best flavour. Can also garnish with dhaniya leaves. Enjoy with Dal, sabzi, roti, paratha. (Pls leave comments after trying my recipe)
