Chicken pakoda is a traditional starter dish that can be served at kitty parties and feast and is also served as a main meal. It is a versatile Indian fritter, easy to prepare and tasty and delicious to eat.

Ingredients of Chicken pakoda

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Ginger-Garlic paste  1 Teaspoons
Chopped Onion  1 Numbers
each Chopped Green Chillies  1-2 Numbers
Salt  1 1/2 Teaspoons
Ground Cumin  1 Teaspoons
chicken (without skin & bones)  500 Grams
Vinegar  2 Teaspoons
Curd  1 Cup
Lemon juice  1 Teaspoons

  • Put everything but chicken and batter in blender and blend till fine
  • Marinate the chicken pcs with the resulting mixture
  • Keep in the fridge for 40 minutes.
  • Put chicken in batter
  • Deep fry it until its colour changes to golden brown Condiments
  • Serve the chicken pakora with coriander or mint chutney or tomato ketchup
