take equal quantities of ginger and peeled garlic and blend into fine paste you can add oil and salt to store for longer time in refrigerator

You can add litter turmeric while grinding the paste. This will help the gingergarlic paste remain with its original color.

Why gingergarlicpaste became green evenif I kept it in a airtight container in a fridge.

i have noticed that the garlic paste turning green after a while. Little bit of googling says its normal for it to turn green and its safe to use it.

Few ways to prevent this is to leave garlic pods for few days in a temperature above 23 degrees or to fry the paste in oil for a minute before storing. Sanjay, let me know if the information is right.
