Description: Green Pepper Mughlai is a majestic yet simple dish full of flavours, exciting green colour and a perfect dish to go with naan, roti, chapatti or paratha. It typically combines the ingredients to the Mughlai style of cooking such as use of chilli peppers, and different rich spices and freshly ground pepper that gives that extra zing to the dish.

Curd 2 Tablespoons
Salt 1 To Taste
Coconut Powder 1 Tablespoons
Sesame Seeds 1 Tablespoons
Peanuts 1 Tablespoons
Pepper Con 1 To Taste
Garlic 6 Numbers
Chopped Onion 1/2 Numbers
Geen Pepper 5 Numbers
Coriander 1/2 Bunch
Lime Juice 1 To Taste


  1. Take a pan add peanuts, sesame seeds, and coconut powder dry roast it and blend it to a fine powder.
  2.  In another pan add oil, onions, salt, chopped garlic, then add green pepper cut into cubes cook for 4-5mins and then add the powder of peanut,coconut, sesame then mix well then add curd, crushed pepper mix well and let it cook for few min at last add chopped coriander and if required lemon juice.

I am not particularly fond of Green pepper/Simla Mirch or Kodamelagai but this seems to be an interesting recipe. Will surely try this. I followed your recipe and made Mirchi ka Salan and 2 litres vanished in 2 minutes and everyone wowed me! Thanks a ton.
