Ingredients used in Moong Dal Khichidi
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Red chilli powder, - half tea spoon.
• Ginger garlic paste. - half tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Curry leaves - 5 sticks.
• Oil - as required.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Onions (chopped) - half cup.
• Moong dal - half cup.
• Rice - half cup.
Method:
  • Heat oil, then add cumin and mustard seeds.
  • Add onion,gingergarlic paste, curry leaves and saute for a minute.
  • Add turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder ,cuminpowder,and salt and stir for a few seconds.
  • Add the rice, dal and 2 cups water.and keep in a pressure cooker up to 3 whistles.ater words remove the rice from cooker.

serve hot with peanuts chutney decorate with coriander leaves and onions.
