Ingredients used in Butter Cookies
• Vanilla essence - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Egg yok - 3 numbers.
• All purpose flour - 125 grams.
• Sugar powder - 80 grams.
• Butter - 100 grams.
• Milk - 1/4 cup.
Method:
  • In a bowl add butter, sugar powder and cream it, add egg yolk, all-purpose flour, vanilla essence, mix it like soft dough.
  • roll the dough very gently and cut them into design shape
  • Now transfer it to a baking tray and gently touch on top of the cookie with a knife (zig-zag marks) on this coat with milk and egg yolk mixture.
  • Bake them at 180 c for 12 to 15 minutes.

I love butter cookies...but chef can you please give the measurements in "cups and tablespoon" range also instead of grams..since I live in US, it would be easier for me to follow through the whole recipe..thank you...u r amazing !!! :)

Baking works most consistently if you use mass instead of volume for ingredients, which is probably why he's doing it the way he is.

I know baking requires precise measuements...but cup ranges are standard measurements in US...and you can also buy these measurement cups and spoons in stores..these are not the usual household cups and spoons...:)
