Chicken with Potato Straws - Salli Ma Murgh

Ingredients used in Chicken with Potato Straws - Salli Ma Murgh
• Boneless chicken - 400 grams.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 number.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Ginger (chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Garlic (chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Garam masala - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Curd - 1 cup.
• Potato julienne (salli) - 100 grams.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Red chilli powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan add crushed ginger, garlic, and onion and saute for some time then add boneless chicken cook for 5 minutes.
  • Meanwhile take a bowl add yogurt, turmeric powder, garam masala, red chili powder, cuminpowder, coriander powder, salt and mix it well.
  • Add this yogurtmixture into chicken and mix it by adding some water then cook till the chicken tender and transfer into a bowl add potato juliennes.

Serve hot with roti or plain paratha
