Ingredients used in Idli Uppuma
• Idli - broken to small pieces - 1(1/2) cup.
• Onions chopped - 1/2 cup.
• Chopped green chilies - 3 no.
• Curry leaves - 1 no.
• Oil - as required.
• Ginger - a small - piece.
• Salt - as required.
• Mustard seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Channa dal - 1 tea spoon.
• Urad dal - 1/2 tea spoon.
Method:
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, when it pops, add urad dal, gram dal and chopped onions, green chillies, chopped ginger, few curry leaves saute it. When the onions turn colourless, add the idli piece's. If required add salt. Cook for 5 minutes until they mix up well. Serve it hot.
