Kabsa
Author : Vahchef
Main Ingredient : Chicken
Servings : 4 persons
Published date : November 21, 2016

Ingredients used in Kabsa
• Pine nuts - 1/2 cup.
• Garlic (lasan - 12 clove.
• Onion - 1 numbers.
• Chicken bouillon - 3 numbers.
• Basmati rice - 3 cup.
• Butter - 1/2 cup.
• Water - 5(1/2) cup.
Method:
  • Saute the onion, garlic and pine nuts in the butter. Once this mixture is browned add the water and bouillon cubes. Once the water comes to a boil, add the rice, turn the heat to low and let cook for about 10-15 minutes. Let the rice sit for 15 minutes once you have turned off the heat, gently stir the rice in the pot.
  • Cook the chicken the way you prefer, I prefer to put it in a baking pan and sprinkle with seasonings and bake until it#39;s done, then broil so the skin is crisp.
