Ingredients used in MUSSEL CUTLET-MANGALORE STYLE
• Mussels - 2 no.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Chilli powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Corn flour - 2 tea spoon.
• Onion - 1 big.
• Asefotida - small pinch.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - to fry.
Method:
In warm water put mussels once they open up remove it from shells and throw shells. Chop Onions, add mussels,onion and all other masala (turmeric powder, chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, asefotida) and mix it well. In a frying pan heat oil and fry these like cutlets. Other variation you can skip onion and mix mussel with turmeric powder, chili powder, corn flour, asefotida, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt and fry.
