Ingredients used in MUSSEL CUTLET-MANGALORE STYLE
• Mussels - 2 no.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Chilli powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Corn flour - 2 tea spoon.
• Onion - 1 big.
• Asefotida - small pinch.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - to fry.
Method:
  • In warm water put mussels once they open up remove it from shells and throw shells.
  • Chop Onions, add mussels,onion and all other masala (turmeric powder, chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, asefotida) and mix it well.
  • In a frying pan heat oil and fry these like cutlets.
  • Other variation you can skip onion and mix mussel with turmeric powder, chili powder, corn flour, asefotida, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt and fry.
