Ingredients used in Prawns Cooked in Garlic, Dil And Spinach Leaves
• Spinach - 2 bunch.
• Dil leaves (chopped) - 2 bunch.
• Prawns - 10 number.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 number.
• Ginger (chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Garlic (chopped) - 5 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Pepper (crushed) - 1 tea spoon.
• Oil - as required.
Method:

  • Grind spinach and dil leaves to coarse paste. Keep aside.
  • Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, chopped onion, chopped garlic, chopped ginger, blended paste of spinach and dil leaves, salt and cook it by stirring occasionally for about 4-5 minutes till oil oozes out of the gravy.
  • Then season the above gravy with turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder,crush pepper and let it cook for another 3 minutes.
  • At last, add prawns to the same pan and cook it for 2-3 minutes.
