Ingredients used in Mutton Vindaloo
• Mutton - 500 grams.
• Potatoes - 225 grams.
• Tomatoes - 115 grams.
• Cumin - 1 tea spoon.
• Cinnamon - 1 piece.
• Red chillies - 5 numbers.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Garlic - 5 cloves.
• Ginger - 1 piece.
• Onion - 1 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Vinger - 30 ml.
• Oil - as required.
Method:
  • Clean and cut meat.
  • Grind spices using vinger.
  • Smear spices meat and set aside for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Heat oil. Fry meat.
  • Add remaining vinger and more water if requied.
  • When three fourths done, add potatoes peeled and cut into quarters and blanched chopped done, add potatoes peeled and cut into quarter and blanched chopped tomatoes. Add salt.
  • Remove when meat and vegetabels are tender.
