Ingredients used in Horlicks Oats Pongal
• Horlicks oats - 2 cup.
• Moong dal - 1 cup.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Hing - 1 pinch.
• Pepper corn - 1 tea spoon.
• Cashew nuts - 10 number.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
Method:
  • Boil water in a pan, add moong dal and let it cook for about 4 minutes.
  • Now add horlicks oats in the same pan, give it a mix, season it with salt and cook well by stirring occasionally for another 1-2 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pan for tempering, add cashew nuts, cumin seeds, peppercorns, saute season it with hing, curry leaves, transfer it to the above pan and stir it.

Horlicks oats Pongal is now ready to serve.
