PALAK CHICKEN CURRY

Ingredients used in PALAK CHICKEN CURRY
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Fresh coconut - 2 tablespoons.
• Onion - 1 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Garlic cloves - 10 number.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Tomato - 1 number.
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Chicken - 250 grams.
• Spinach(chopped) - 2 bunch.
• Pepper - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Water - as required.
Method:
  • Firstly heat oil in a pan, add fresh coconut pieces, chopped onion, salt, garlic, turmeric powder and saute until onions are slightly brown.
  • Now add chopped tomato, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and saute it for few more minutes.
  • Then add chicken pieces mix well and cook for another 10-12 minutes on a slow flame by closing the lid on.
  • Finally add spinach, crushed pepper, some water and cook for another 4-5 minutes and serve hot with rice or roti.
