Ingredients used in Paneer Pasanda Pakoda
• Paneer - 250 grams.
• Cooking soda - pinch.
• Chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Carom seeds (ajwain) - 1 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Chick pea flour - 1 cup.
• Oil - as required.
• Chatmasala - 1 tablespoon.
• Pickle paste (any) - 2 tablespoons.
• Water - as required.
Method:
  • Take paneer square pieces, cut them in a pocket shape and stuff with favorite pickle, keep it aside.
  • Take a bowl add chickpea flour, salt, carom seeds, chili powder, cooking soda, mix it like a thick batter. Dip the paneer slices in the batter and deep fry them.
  • Cut the fried paneer pasanda pakoda and sprinkle chat masala on it. Enjoy this snack.

it is paneer made from milk(by curdling milk using acidic agent like vinegar or lemon juice). Something similar can be made with tofu, but it won't taste like paneer.
