PLAINTAIN AND DESICATED COCONUT LATTKIES

Ingredients used in PLAINTAIN AND DESICATED COCONUT LATTKIES
• Plantain(half boiled and mashed) - 1-1/2 cup.
• Onion(chopped) - 1/2 cup.
• Amchur powder - 1-2 tea spoon.
• Pepper powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Green chillies - 1 number.
• Ginger(chopped) - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup.
• Desiccated coconut - 1/4 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Nutmeg - 1 pinch.
• Coconut oil - 1/2 cup.
• Mozzarella cheese - 1/2 cup.
• Corn starch slurry - 1/2 cup.
Method:
  • Take a bowl and add mashed plantain, onion, amchur powder, pepper powder, green chillies, ginger, coriander leaves, desiccated coconut, salt, nutmeg and mix thoroughly.
  • Take the small dumpling and make a dipped ball and stuff the cheese later press it to give the tikki shape and roll it on the plate as shown in the video.
  • Dip the prepared lattkies in corn slurry and coat with desiccated coconut.
  • Heat oil in the pan and place the lattkies and cook it on both sides till it changes to brown colour.
  • Transfer it into a plate.

Now plantain and desiccated coconut lattikies are ready to serve.
