Ingredients used in MALABAR MACORONI BAKE
• Butter - 2 teaspoons.
• Garlic(thin slice) - 1 tea spoon.
• Ginger(thin slice) - 1 tea spoon.
• Green chilies(chopped) - 1 tea spoon.
• Onion(dices) - 1/2 cup.
• Curry leaves - 1 spring.
• Cloves - 2 numbers.
• Cinnamon - 1 stick.
• Rice flour - 2 teaspoons.
• Carrot(small pieces) - 1/2 cup.
• Beans(chopped) - 1/2 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Pepper powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Potato(chopped) - 1 cup.
• Malabar paratha(partially cooked) - 2 numbers.
• Macaroni(boiled) - 1 cup.
• Coconut milk - 1/2 cup.
• Cheese - 3 pieces.
• Coriander leaves - 1/2 bunch.
• Coconut powder - 1/2 cup.
• Oil - 2 teaspoons.
Method:
  • Heat butter in a pan and add garlic, ginger, green chillies, onion, curry leaves, cloves, cinnamon, rice flour and saute it for few minute.
  • Later add carrot, beans, salt, pepper powder and again saute it for 2 minutes.
  • After 2 minutes add potatoes, little water and cook it at least for 80 percent done with a lid on it.
  • Later add macaroni, coconut milk, chopped cheese and cook it for 2 minutes then switch off the flame.
  • Heat tawa and place paratha and cook it for 2 minutes, then switch off the flame and keep it aside.
  • Now crush this paratha and transfer into baking tray and add coriander leaves, Macaroni mixture.
  • Finally add cheese, coconut powder, coriander leaves on top of it and bake it 230 centigrade for 10-12 minutes.

Tasty malabar macaroni bake is ready to serve.
