Ingredients used in POTATO SESAME BREAD STICKS
• Potatoes(boiled and mashed) - 1 cup.
• Onion - 1 number.
• Green chilies - 2 numbers.
• Coriander leaves - half cup.
• Dry mango powder - half tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Oats - 2 tablespoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Sesame seeds - 2 tablespoons.
• Corn starch - 2 tablespoons.
• All purpose flour - 2 tablespoons.
• Bread slices - 4 numbers.
• Oil - as required.
Method:
Take boiled and mashed potatoes in a bowl and add finely chopped onions, green chilies, coriander leaves, dry mango powder, coriander powder, oats powder, salt and mix it nicely. To make slurry take sesame seeds, corn starch, all purpose, salt, little water and mix it to make thick batter. Take the bread slices and spread the potato mixture on it with a spoon and press it with hand. Now cut the bread slice into long pieces with knife. Coat this slurry to the bread pieces by dipping in it. Pan fry these pieces now in oil. Turn the other side also very carefully and cook them till they become golden brown. Take them on tissue paper and serve hot with tomato sauce.
