Ingredients used in Radish Chutney
• Radish (chopped) - 1 cup.
• Peanuts - 1 tablespoon.
• Coriander seeds - 1 tablespoon.
• Chana dal - 1 tablespoon.
• Dry red chilies - 7 number.
• Oil - as required.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 number.
• Tamarind pieces - 5 number.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Urad dal - 1 tea spoon.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
Method:
  • Dry roast peanuts, coriander seeds, chana dal on slow flame till they turn slightly brown in color.
  • Then add dry red chilies to the same panand saute it for fewminutes.
  • Later grind it to a fine powder, keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add onion, tamarind pieces and saute it for about a minute.
  • Now add turmeric powder, chopped radish and saute till onions and radish pieces slightly change in color.
  • Later transfer it to a blender, grind to a coarse paste by adding salt.
  • Transfer the chutneyinto a bowl, season it with preparedmasala powder and mix well.
  • For tempering: Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, when they splutter, add urad dal and saute it.
  • Now make some space in center on the chutney bowl, add some curry leaves and transfer the prepared tempering on top of them.

Delicious Radish Chutney is now ready to serve.
