Sweet and Sour Fish

Ingredients used in Sweet and Sour Fish
• White fish - 500 grams.
• Shiitake mushrooms - 4 numbers.
• Onion - half number.
• Green pepper - 1 number.
• Carrot - 1 number.
• Ginger - 1 tea spoon.
• Sake - 1 tea spoon.
• Sugar - 1 tablespoon.
• Rice wine vinegar - 1 tablespoon.
• Ketchup - 1 tablespoon.
• Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons.
• Vegetable oil - to fry.
• Corn starch - as required.
• Water - half cup.
Method:
  • Cut onion, green pepper, shiitake mushrooms, carrots, and ginger into thin stripps.
  • Cut fish into bite-sized pieces
  • Coat fish with corn starch and fry in a frying pan until crispy.
  • Saute onion, carrot, onion, green pepper, ginger, and shiitake in a frying pan.
  • In a small bowl, mix water, ketchup, sugar, rice wine vinegar, soy sauce, sake, and remaining corn starch.
  • Pour the sauce over sauteed vegetables and stir quickly on medium heat.
  • Serve fried fish in a plate and pour sweet and sour sauce over them.
