Sweet chili garlic sauce is an integral part of every diet. but we are not going to cook it so we cant store it for a long time use it as a dipping sauce for Asian flavoured appetizers or egg rolls, or add a couple of tablespoons of the gooey goodness on breaded chicken bits and vegetables to make a delicious stirfry dish.

SWEET CHILLI GARLIC SAUCE IN OIL

Ingredients used in SWEET CHILLI GARLIC SAUCE IN OIL
• Tomato ketchup - 1-1/2 tablespoon.
• Chilly paste - 2 tablespoons.
• Sugar - 1 tablespoon.
• Garlic (chopped) - 3 tablespoons.
• Oil - 100 ml.
• Vinegar - 1-1/2 tablespoon.
• Jaggery - 2 tablespoons.
Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan and switch off the flame.
  • In a bowl add chopped garlic, sugar, chilly paste, tomato ketchup, vinegar, jaggery, mix this till sugar jaggery is nicely dissolved.
  • Add the mixture to hot oil and mix it, do not serve this sauce with fried foods to be served with steamed foods.
