Ingredients used in Haleem Recipe
• Dried yellow split peas - 150 grams.
• Lentils - 115 grams.
• Oat meal - 80 grams.
• Chop lamb - 750 grams.
• Maize - 2 tablespoons.
• Jeera - 4 teaspoons.
• Onion - 1 big.
• Massala - 4 teaspoons.
• Ajinomoto - 3 teaspoons.
• Shallot - to taste.
• Lemon - to taste.
• Salt and pepper according - to taste.
• Green coriander - to taste.
Method:
  • Bring to boil the split peas, lentils, and salt for 30 minutes.
  • Soak the lamb cut into cubes with salt, pepper, maize, and Ajinomoto.
  • Fry the onion in a Chinese wok and add the lamb.
  • Cook the meat for a few minutes until all its water is evaporated, then add the masala and jeera.
  • When the dhal is ready, add the lamb and 2 liters of water and cook for 30 minutes in a pressure cooker.
  • Then, add the oats diluted in a glass of water. Bring to the boil until it thickens to a nice soup.
