Recipe of badam burfi

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Water 1/4 Cup
Ghee 1 Cup
Sugar 1 Cup
Badam 1 Cup

Directions

soak the badam in water for 4-5 hrs. Remove the skin of badam and make it powder(Grind the badam with out adding any water). First mix water and sugar and make sugar syrup now add badam powder and ghee to it. mix well untill it becomes half of the quantity. grease ghee onto a plate. pour the badam mix in plate and make it cool. Cut the pieces as u like.

I tried this at home.. i dint come out as i expected.. it was too sticky even though i used lot of ghee and was sticking to teeth while eating.. was very disappionted.
I did the using milk next time.. this came out really well. and it hardened also how a burfi has to be. u can ask me for the recipie.

I had to read it twice but it is all there. The main ingredient of badam burfi is missing in this recipe. It is the condensed milk called Khoya and milk which is the basis of a good lovely burfi. I want to know what kind of a burfi needs one full cup of Ghee to make it. Whoever put it on display is really joking with the readers and potential cooks. Take it off and put the proper recipe on for all to read. This is a bleedin joke and an insult to our intelligence. Does nobody checks these recipes before they are put on display for all to read.
