Recipe of Bottlegourd mutton

Gingergarlic Paste 1 Tablespoons
Turmeric Powder 1 Teaspoons
Onion 1 Big
Oil 2 Tablespoons
Cumin Powder 1 Teaspoons
Coriander Powder 1 Teaspoons
Salt To Taste
Dry Coconut Powder 2 Tablespoons
Red Chillie Powder 2 Teaspoons
Tomatoes 4 Small
Bottle Gourd 1 Small
Goat Or Lamb 2 Lbs
Cloves 6 Numbers
Cinnamon Stick 1 inch Stricks
Cardomum 4 Numbers
Cilantro few Springs


Preperations: Grind coconut powder along with cloves cinnamon and Cardomum. Cut the mutton in to small pieces ,wash it and keep it aside. Cut the onions and tomatoes. Cook the tomatoes in microwave till they get soft. Peel the bottle gourd and cut into small pieces. Method: Take a pressure cooker and place it on stove top. Heat the oil and add diced onions.After the onions caramalise little bit add ginger garlic paste and cook it for 1 min. Add bottle gourd pieces and cook it for 2 more min.Then add the mutton Coconut and garam masala paste.Pour water needed to cook mutton and close the pressure cooker.No.of whistles depend on quality of mutton. After the pressure cooker is cooled open it and add red chillie powder,salt,Coriander powder,Cumin Powder and the Microwave cooked tomatoes. Cook it for 5 min till u get desired consistency. U can add water if u need more gravy. Atlast add cilantro and switch off the stove. Delicious Mutton curry is ready.
