Description: This rice is very easy and can be made very quickly liked by adulats and children.

Recipe of Capsicum rice

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Turmeric Powder 1/4 Tablespoons
Cumin Seeds 1 Tablespoons
Oil 1 Tablespoons
Ghee 1 Tablespoons
Grated Cheese as per requirement
Chille Powder 1/2 Tablespoons
Onion 1 1/2 Big
Capsicum 3 Small
Rice 1 Cup
Salt as per requirement


1.First boil the rice and let it cool for a while. 2.In pan add the oil and ghee and when it is hot add the cumin seeds and when it splutters add the chopped onions.After the onions are transparent add the chopped capsicum and sorte it . 3.Now add chilli powder ,turmeric and a little salt to the capsicum mixture and reduce the heat and let it cook for a while. 4.It usually takes about 4-5 minutes for the capsicum mixture to cook. 5.Once cooked add the rice and the remaining salt to it. 6.In the end add grated cheese to the rice mixture and let it stay in the pan for a while. 7.Serve the rice hot.

I liked many recipes and tried a lot of them from vah reh vah. All tasted wow!! except for this one.I am not sure what was the reason.Could you please tell me if i can add coriander powder to thsi recipe?

Oh I just finished cooking capsicum rice and it is so tasty and just right spicy. Since I eat a bit more spicy so I added crushed black pepper. Viewers please try this dish. Can be cooked for parties as well.
