Recipe of CHILLI PANEER

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Paneer 350 Grams
Salt 2 Teaspoons
Egg 1 Numbers
Corn Flour 1/2 Cup
Ginger-Garlic Paste 1 Teaspoons
Chopped Onions 2 Cup
Sliced Green Chillies 2 Tablespoons
Soya Sauce 1 Tablespoons
Vinegar 2 Tablespoons
Ajinomoto 1/4 Teaspoons
Oil To Fry
Little Water To Taste

Directions

  • Cut the paner into cubes.
  • Mix together the cottage cheese, 1 tsp salt, egg, corn flour, garlic, ginger and water to just coat the paneer pieces with the mixture.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the paneer pieces caoted with mixture till golden in color.
  • Heat 2 tbsp of the oil in a wok and stir fry the onions in it over high heat for half a minute.
  • Add the green chillies, salt, soya sauce, vinegar, ajinomoto and the fried paneer cubes.
  • Mix well, and garnish the chilli paneer with finely cut spring onions and coriander

    Hi,

    I don't like using MSG and could not lay my hands on chilli garlic paste when I made this. Instead of chilli garlic paste I used Linghams Garlic Chilli sauce. I did not think I could make this dish at all but am so pleased with the YouTube video where you shoed how to do this.
    The final result was amazing. Dosai next...

    hello sanjay garu... i recently cooked da dish, it tasted xcellently but da problem was.... i found dat the paneer was bit tough 4 my liking..... so could you suggest a way 2 keep paneer soft??? Other than that the recipe was very good n every one must try it.... Many thanks for the recipes n we appreciate ur work

    hi, if somebody is pure vegetarian and wants to minus eggs in this recipe, you can use all purpose flour( maida) instead of eggs. Make a very smooth paste and dip the paneer in it and then fry, it will taste the same
