QUICK MIX CHOCOLATE CAKE

Recipe of CHOCO CHIP SPONGE CAKE

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Butter softened  100 Grams
Choco chip/or dark chocolate bits  1/4 Cup
Cocoa powder  1/4 Cup
Baking powder  2 Teaspoons
Powdered sugar/castor sugar  2 Cup
Refined flour/maida  2 Cup
Vanilla essence  1 1/2 Teaspoons
Milk at room temperature  1/2 Cup
Eggs- beaten well  3

Directions
1. Pre-heat the oven to 180 degree centigrade/ or on gas mark 4.Grease a tin with lining of butter and flour by patting it out. 2. sift flour, powdered sugar, baking powder and cocoa powder into a bowl and keep aside. Add the butter, vanilla essence and half portion of the milk and mix well using a blender or electric mixer in circular motion for 2-3 mins on medium speed scraping the sides of the bowl now and then. 3. Now add the remaining milk and the beaten eggs little at a time beat for another 2-3 mins. mix in the choco chips. 4. Pour into the prepared tin and bake for 45mins or till done.
