Ingredients used in Dosakaya Mutton
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 number.
• Mutton - 1 lbs.
• Chili powder - 1.5 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Cucumber - 1 number.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Coconut powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Cloves - 2 numbers.
• Cinnamon - 1 small.
• Mace - 1 number.
• Elaichi - 1 number.
• Oil - as required.
• Water - as required.
Method:
  • Marinate mutton with ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder for 15minutes.
  • Mean while, grind coconut powder and whole garam masala to paste.
  • In a pan add oil, onions andslightly brown it.
  • Now add mutton and keep on high flame.
  • Cover with normal lid and cook till water evaporates.
  • Then add chilli powder and remove lid and cook for 1minute.
  • Add a glass of water and pressure cook for 3whistles on high.
  • Then add dosakai cut into pieces add salt, masala.
  • Then again pressure cook for 1whistle on high and 2whistles on low.
  • Then add coriander powder, cook for 5minutes on open.

Serve with rice or chapathi.
