Recipe of Fish pulusu

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Red Chilli Powder 3 Tablespoons
Cumin Seeds 1 Tablespoons
Mustard Seeds 1 Tablespoons
Onions 4 Tablespoons
Garam Masala Powder 2 Tablespoons
Coriander Powder 2 Tablespoons
Fenugreek Powder 3 Tablespoons
Salt 2 Tablespoons
Fish 500 Grams
Garlic Paste 2 Tablespoons
Tamarind 100 Grams


First mix the Fenugreek Powder, Coriander Powder and apply to the Fish pieces evenly. cut the onions (we need more onions) and keep the red chilli powder ready. Put the Oil in the pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and add onions. Add Garlic Paste after the onions are reddish brown and add the Tamarind Juice. Add the Fish pieces which are kept earlier into this gravy. Boil it for very less time as the Fish takes very less time to cook.

Recipe Tips

Do not keep the Fish for long time as the Fish may become very very sticky
