This is a typical gujarati dish which is similar to the Mor curry of kerala. This is generally had with hot steaming khichdi.
Recipe of Gujarati Kadhi
Take yogurt in a bowl.Add the besan, hing, chopped chillies, grated ginger, salt, sugar,tumeric and curry leaves and churn the mixture using the churner. There should be no besan lumps formed. Add water and mix the entire contents well. Keep aside. Now in a small pan/vessel, heat oil/ghee. Add the cumin seeds, clove and methi seeds. when the seeds get brown, add the yogurt mixture. keep stiring it continuously. The kadhi will start to boil in 10 mins. turn off the flame and add finely chopped coriander. The steaming kadhi is ready to be had with khichdi/plain rice.
